- Take a print out of the ticket
- Visit nearest railway reservation counter
- Bring original ID proof of anyone passenger traveling in the ticket along with a photocopy of it
- Here, you can ask the counter officer to change the passenger's name in the ticket
Term & condition to avail this facility
You can transfer your ticket only to your family members, such as mother, father, brother, sister, son, daughter, husband and wife. Apart from this, you cannot transfer your confirmed ticket to any third person. According to this railway rule, if a student is not able to travel on his confirmation ticket then he can transfer his confirmation ticket to any other student. For this, he has to apply 48 hours before the opening of the train.
