VPN , How It is work ? and what are uses of VPN?

VPN(Virtual Private Network) is a service which is used to make a private and secure connection over a public network like that internet. It is used by the people and organization to make a secure or private connection.

VPN is a secure path to communicate between two or more server or computer. VPN is used to search any web without telling your identity and location. VPN is used to surf anything on the internet anonymously. It is hugely used by organization/corporation to protect data and it is also used by the hacker to protect identity. Now many VPN provider is available in the market which provides many types of VPN service.

How it is work:-

   VPN encrypted all the traffic available on your computer after connecting. IP(internet protocol) address of your computer change with the address of VPN server. Nobody can track your online traffic.

VPN PROTOCOL:-

    There are available some different type of VPN protocol. This protocol is used to secure and encrypt users and provide a different type of security feature.

1).PPTP(Point to Point Tunneling protocol):- 

    PPTP is most widely used protocol since window 95 to now. It is a highly strong protocol but not more secure. It is supported by a different type of operating system like MAC, Linux, Android. It uses point to Point protocol method to encrypt data.

2). SSL(Secure socket layer) and TLS(Transport Layer security) :- 

     These are widely used by the service provider and online shopping site

3).L2TP(Layer 2 Tunneling protocol) :- 

    L2TP is a more specific protocol rather than PPTP.it provides more functions and features. It is combined with another protocol(IPSec protocol) and make a more secure connection for data encryption.

4). OpenVPN:- 

    OpenVPN is an open source VPN protocol which is dependent on SSL protocol. It is mostly used to make an open connection and make more free environment.

5). IPSec( Internet protocol security) :- 

    Internet protocol security(IPSec) is used to make a highly secure connection over the internet. It provides more specific security function to many systems.

USES OF VPN:-

1). To hide your location:- it is used to hide your location. We can change our country location with the help of VPN.

2). To access blocked website from anywhere:- it is used to access website which is blocked by the government for any reason.

3). For encrypting communication:- with the help of a VPN, we can make a secure communication connection.

4). To hide and change the IP address:- we can hide our IP address by the help of VPN. It is changing our IP address with the address of the VPN server.
